Manager: Marketing and Stakeholder Relations (12-month contract) (Ref #: OHSC 2/2025)

Salary: An all-inclusive salary package of R 1, 003 890 per annum (basic salary consists of 70% or 76% of the total package, OHSC’s contribution to the Government Employee Pension Fund (13% of basic salary) and a flexible portion). The flexible portion can be structured according to OHSC guidelines.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or Advertising is required. Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or Advertising, with the minimum of 3 years in a junior management position. Strong written and verbal communication skill are essential, along with effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. A solid understanding of intergovernmental relations, communications strategies, methods, and technologies is also necessary. A valid driver’s license.

Advantages: A relevant Postgraduate qualification, along with experience in communication, product pitching, presentation, and document layout and design.

Duties:

Develop and implement marketing and stakeholder engagements strategies. Manage marketing campaigns and relationship strategies with stakeholders. Contribute to the development and evaluation of marketing and public awareness initiatives. Oversee digital and social media platforms. Write and edit corporate publications, marketing and promotional material. Draft opinion pieces, letters, media statements, speeches, and content for digital media and website. Assist in designing and developing a media relations strategy.
